This remarkable statuette shows two horses with their heads leaning over the windowsill of a stable. An ivy vine is climbing the wall, too. The round window above them could be used as a picture frame or to hold a standard-sized clock movement.

This one must be pretty old -- just look at the oxidation on this piece! I have several with the same design, but the oxidation differs -- this is as extensive as it gets, though.

This piece was made by Sarsaparilla Design, a metal foundry in West New York, NJ, that recently went out of business after over 50 years of production. I was able to acquire some of their older work, including this piece.
