David, one of the true masterpieces of the Renaissance. Michelangelo's David was sculpted from 1501 to 1504 and is considered one of Michelangelo's two greatest works of sculpture, along with the Pietà. The statue depicts the young Israelite king David nude and alone is one of the most recognizable stone sculpture in the history of art. It has become regarded as a symbol both of strength and youthful human beauty. The look of consternation on his face as Michelangelo captures the moment that David decides to do battle with Goliath. Later the statue came to symbolize the Florentine Republic, an independent city state threatened on all sides by more powerful rival states. David still stands in Florence, guarding over the city. This piece will arrive in whitewear unless a finish is ordered.

Arkahdia Arts Studio, a European immigrant now living in New York started a studio dedicated to casting these pieces of Art. By focusing the business on two goals;(1) to save pieces which have been produced in another medium in bygone times, and (2) to bring new artist's work to the public, the product lines have prospered, delighted and excited.
