Inspired by the neo-Classical portrait sculpture by the Italian sculptor Antonio Canova, our "Pauline Bonaparte as Venus Victrix" is shown depicted as the original, semi-nude reclining on a sofa. Although, the piece was commissioned by her husband Camillo Borghese, it caused to only stir the Princess Pauline's all ready infamous reputation, for she sat nearly fully nude for the sculptor. Currently the statue of Napolean's little sister, Lady Pauline as Venus Victrix can be seen in the Galleria Borghese in Rome.

Arkahdia Arts Studio, a European immigrant now living in New York started a studio dedicated to casting these pieces of Art. By focusing the business on two goals;(1) to save pieces which have been produced in another medium in bygone times, and (2) to bring new artist's work to the public, the product lines have prospered, delighted and excited.
