Hebe Statue by Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844). After the death of Canova, he became Europe's premienent neo-classical sculptor. Our version of Hebe is inspired by his original that resides in his museum in Copenhagen.
Hebe served as the cup bearer for the gods.
Pouring ambrosia from her jug into her cup and then offering it to the other
Gods and Goddesses.
Hebe's pure beauty and everlasting youth make her an unbelieveable display piece for any environ.
And as with all our reproductions she is available in over 150 finishes.
Of course if you order a Hebe Statue with out a finish it will come as white ware.
