In Greek mythology, Athena ( Latin: Minerva) is the shrewd companion of heroes and the Goddess of heroic endeavour. She is the daughter of Zeus, and came forth from his head fully grown (with armor!). She is also the goddess of wisdom and architecture! Usually depicted in art with a helmet, armor and her pet owl.
